Trophies are a great way to celebrate victories in your fantasy football league. Whether you manage a league amongst your friends or manage a league amongst co-workers for a large corporation, there is no better way to give out awards for those who rank highest.
Just because your league is online, it doesn’t mean that the awards ceremony has to be online too. In most instances, the top scorers in fantasy leagues are expected to get something to show for it. In my personal experience, this meant getting gift certificates to restaurants or shops. There’s nothing wrong with gift certificates but once they are spent, nothing is left. This is where trophies become an important part to the experience of climbing to the top of your league.
If you give your top rankers trophies, they will have something to keep forever. They can be given by themselves or along with a gift certificate. The trophies add something special to your league and can be inexpensive too. Medals and plaques are the least expensive option. Trophies can also be fairly inexpensive but can cost more depending on the size of your league. As a result you attract more attention, raise the bar for competition, and most importantly, have more fun.
